Hello Falcons families and players!
We have an exciting opportunity for the junior Falcons.
Next Sunday May 2nd, seven of the current Women’s National Field Hockey team players have generously offered to coach the U6-18 players!

There is a lot of experience in this group of national players with 3 of them having played well over 100 games for Canada.

Nominations and applications are now being accepted for the Graeme Carswell “Follow Your Dreams” Award. This $500 bursary will be awarded to a deserving young Falcon or Falcon Alumni who best exemplifies the characteristics of Graeme. who tragically passed away in 2016.
These characteristics include:
1.Follow their dreams.
2. Live their passions.
3. Always be kind.
4. Be a positive example for their team-mates in whatever sport they play.
5. Be self-less, humble, spontaneous, modest, charismatic and have a sense of humour.
6. Appreciate and love music.
7. Have compassion and respect for others.
8. Give their time freely to mentor younger people.
9. Be genuine.
10. Make a difference.

The deadline for the application is May 28th, 2021.

Falcons Field Hockey is proud to offer scholarships to deserving graduates. Scholarships of $500 towards post secondary education are awarded each year to deserving students.
The application deadline has been extended this year to May 17th, 2021 Applications form can be found in the Documents section on the website (bottom right hand corner of the site) Their are two application documents. One for graduates from 2020 and one for graduates from this year (2021).
You can either mail the application to our mailbox or drop it in a sealed envelope with anyone on the executive.
